Terms of Use (EULA)
By using FishRadar you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Paid subscriptions are also governed by Apple’s Standard EULA where applicable.
1. What FishRadar is
FishRadar is a decision-aid that estimates a Feeding Activity Index from species-calibrated bioenergetics, solunar timing, and weather. It is a model index, not a guarantee of fish presence, bite, or catch, and not legal or safety advice for being on the water.
2. Your responsibility
- No catch guarantee. High FAI does not mean fish will bite; low FAI does not mean none will.
- Laws & seasons. Follow local fishing regulations, licences, bag limits, and private-water rules.
- Water safety. Weather, currents, ice, and boat/shore risks are yours to judge. The app does not replace charts, VHF, or common sense.
- Not medical advice. Species notes and bait tips are educational only.
3. Model and data limits
- Forecasts may be wrong, stale, or unavailable (network, cache, Open-Meteo outages).
- Bundled lake polygons and MapKit layers can be incomplete or outdated.
- Solunar and pressure factors are simplified models, not professional fishery science.
4. Licence
You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use FishRadar on Apple devices associated with your Apple ID, subject to App Store rules. App code and bundled data remain the property of their respective owners.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not circumvent the paywall or entitlement checks.
- Do not misuse the app to harass others or violate fishing laws.
- Do not claim that FishRadar guarantees catches on behalf of the developer.
6. FishRadar PRO
Paid features are available through in-app purchases (prices may vary by storefront):
- PRO Monthly — auto-renewable, ~$3.99/month (
com.fishradar.pro.monthly). - PRO Yearly — auto-renewable, ~$24.99/year with a 7-day free trial (
com.fishradar.pro.yearly). - PRO Lifetime — one-time non-consumable, ~$59.99 (
com.fishradar.pro.lifetime).
Apple processes payment. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in Apple ID settings. Refunds and billing disputes follow Apple’s policies.
7. Disclaimer & liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We are not liable for missed catches, reliance on the index, weather or map errors, water-related injury, or regulatory violations. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid for PRO in the last 12 months or (b) USD 50, excluding indirect or consequential damages where such exclusion is allowed.
8. Third-party services
Open-Meteo, Apple MapKit, and StoreKit are also governed by their own terms.
